LOVED THIS!!!!

Something similar happened in my family. Saying goodbye to their hosts after their first overnight trip to friends after my brother's - their first child's - arrival, one of their friends piped up 'Are you sure you've got everything?' They checked the car. 'Yes, we think so. Looks like we've packed everything.' Short pause. 'What about the BABY?' 🤣

Happy new year, Sharon!

Thank you, Deborah! I was too young to actually remember the experience, but I heard the story enough to fill in my own details.

I might be the only one of the 5 of us who remembers that day. Mom was really upset that she did that! Dad managed to calm her down, and then made her laugh about it. I wish I remembered what he said, but I don’t. I know later on that it was a fun story to tell to others - not sure if you appreciated the humor though……….💕

It's scary how often this can happen! - My sister left one of her four at a gas station once on a car trip and had to turn around to retrieve him... Glad they came back for you, Sharon!!

Wow, Linda! Your nephew had quite an adventure, too! I can only imagine the panic your sister must have felt when she realized her baby was not in the car! Thanks for sharing that....I don't feel like I'm the only forgotten kid, now! ha ha!
