I remember that incident - you felt SO stupid! I assured you that you weren’t stupid. You were just young and naive - as we all were at that age. I’m not sure you believed me though - but I tried!

Life sure hands us lessons doesn’t it? 💕

LOL. There are always weirdos out there. With cell phones, I think it's much easier. Just don't answer weird numbers but weirdos and scam artists are always innovating, too. Thank you for sharing, Sharon.

Yeah, you have to pay attention to the spam warnings on your cell phones. I could have used that on my wall phone, back in the 1970's. But I learned how to hang up, and fast! lol Thank you for reading and commenting, Parker! Nice to see you here, on Gopher Farm!

And how long ago? A little tough lesson, but a relatively easy first one. SOO many scams, obscene or not, and with AI, it has become difficult to trust. I'm so glad you have learned, yet never truly glad when belief is shattered like torn lingerie. Never quite the same innocence and trust again.

Many such moments over the past 50+ years, have taught me to be more careful, 𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 with AI now on the scene! Thanks, Jill!

Oh my God! I can just see your innocent eyes... I can just hear Benny man-splaining, lecturing you! Your found photo is perfect here, Sharon, and that last line is a total knock-out. Excellent!

Thanks Sharron! Yep, I was clueless. It didn’t compute, to begin with. Once I got it, I was embarrassed. 🫢

I know it is tough for women, especially when young. I can't imagine what it is like these days. Kudos to your husband, Sharon.

Thanks for your kind comment, Ron. It was very embarrassing and scary, but I’m glad my husband was there! I learned to hang up right away. And not to carry the voice with me.

Thanks Linda! There's a first time for everything, I guess. However, I could have gone my whole life without those phone calls!

And no obscenity was heard. Just a laundry list

To record and re wash on a phony machine where the lingerie are hung up on a line. You listened, you learned. No dirty talk. Every thing clean.

Ew, is right! You almost need a shower after a phone call like that.
