So many lovely and loving images you have created here, Sharon. A very poignant tribute to the fine woman who "who never promised you a rose garden" but gave it to you with unconditional love. She was a strong, guiding force for you.

Thank you, Sharron~I was loved, and I hope she knew how much I loved her, in return. She was a poet, also, and had a wicked sense of humor…two traits I (believe) I inherited from her. 🥰

I have an autograph she wrote in my autograph book when I was seven years old…

“No matter how old you grow to be

You’ll always be the same to me

Sunset images return each evening in the mind. See Mom in prayer. No photograph necessary.She's just there.

Mom's rays are golden. Her beams reach out to warm and still hold you in awe.
