So many lovely and loving images you have created here, Sharon. A very poignant tribute to the fine woman who "who never promised you a rose garden" but gave it to you with unconditional love. She was a strong, guiding force for you.
Thank you, Sharron~I was loved, and I hope she knew how much I loved her, in return. She was a poet, also, and had a wicked sense of humor…two traits I (believe) I inherited from her. 🥰
Lovely! It comes across how much you miss her!
I sure do, Yael, and thank you!

I knew about her sense of humor, but had no idea she wrote poetry. I wonder if you have any of her work?
I have an autograph she wrote in my autograph book when I was seven years old…
“No matter how old you grow to be
You’ll always be the same to me
The only change you’ll see, my dear
Is in my love, which
grows each year”

What a sweet memory...
So sweet!
Thanks, Linda! I do miss her!
Sunset images return each evening in the mind. See Mom in prayer. No photograph necessary. She's just there.
Mom's rays are golden. Her beams reach out to warm and still hold you in awe.
Beautiful comment, Richard! She is in my memory, never erased. Thank you!
Talking with your Mom throughout the night. What a gift indeed. Lovely poem.
It was the best. Thank you, Sue! 🥰
