I am not sure all grandmas are treasures, but I know that YOU, for a fact, are pure gold! You have always given your granddaughters such sincere affection and support, and they love you for it. What a wise thing for the younger one to say, and what a lovely little story it made, Sharon.

Thank you, Sharron! What a beautiful compliment! I do feel that I have a special bond with those girls. And that they are intelligent, and most of all, loving young women. I am so proud of them.

Oh yeah. Wear and tear builds character and humbles the ego so the love can shine through.

This concept of mending with gold is lovely. I just learned from you that it’s called Kintsugi. Thank you, Sharon .

A cup or saucer once broken then mended create stronger bonds. The cup may leak, but grandmas hold trusted secrets and love spilled out is a gift that is remembered.

Kintsugi is a special bond/break/beauty concept: which you have put into love! Wow!
