I remember that day - it was burned into my memory! It was so scary, and at the same time mind blowing that Mom lifted that refrigerator one handed. After it was determined that he was okay, and every one was calmed down, Mom broke into tears…… do you remember that? The, our other sister and I cried too. Thanks for yet another trip down our shared memories. Hugs from your big sister 💕
Thank you, Rebecca! Mothers will move mountains, if doing so saves the lives of their precious babies. I am fortunate to have had a mother who loved us so fiercely.

It was a scary, and emotional moment, for sure, Sue! Thanks for filling in the rest of the story! I had forgotten, until now. Hugs back!!
Amazing fridge story! I've always wondered how any of us live past age 3, what with the dangerous things toddlers get into once they are ambulatory!
Thanks, Linda! Yes, I don't know how we made it! There were so many moments with my own children, too, that scared me to death!!
Golly gosh! The strength of a mama bear - awesome, just awesome. I'm so glad everyone was okay - even the fridge, eventually!
I love your stories, Sharon - even though I needed to read this one through a tiiiiiiiiny gap in my fingers....... 🫣

So succinct and tense and untroubled by HOW to write--just heartfelt strength of a mother!!
WOW.
Thank you, Jill. She was amazing, as are all mothers when children are in danger. But wow, indeed.
Mothers have a way of instilling a sense of fear, awe, and respect. I’d bet your childhood home was a wild and wonderful place! 🥰
Thanks, Deborah! It was very wild, and often wonderful!
