Dinnertime, 1964. Where 5 teenagers sat at the formica kitchen table. Where Mom ate standing up. Where Dad ate at the coffee table, watching Walter Cronkite on the evening news. Where our dog Tammy, a chunky Cocker Spaniel, waited for one of us to drop a scrap of food on the floor, and George, the parakeet, oversaw the dinner routine, knowing more about each of us, than we knew about each other.

Formica table four chairs and a radio to light to rock ‘n roll and school snow closures. Made our own breakfast cereal, a p&j sandwich for lunch. Tv in living room. Budgie bird in dining room chirping. Dog springer spaniel waiting for some tough grizzle tossed as her treat. Deja vu.
That picture you just painted is a beautiful gift to us all. Thank you
