Oh, Sharon! This is so damned funny. We all have so much stuff! Reminds me of the 1980s adage "He who dies with the most toys wins!" Abandoned treadmill, mountains of Tupperware, Levi's in three sizes! Ha ha ha! You nailed it.
I didn’t have a garage sale but I had to move from the place I lived for more than 40 years to an assisted housing. I gave away many beloved pieces to people who needed them. It was a good feeling..
What a beautiful way to honor those precious belongings, Yael! What we give away to those in need, we add to the love in the world, and grow our hearts. Thank you for reading my piece, and your sweet comment. 🌹
You're not kidding there, Sharon. We have threatened to tackle both the garage and what we call the "well of souls" that is our shop. It's actually a huge metal building that once stored a 40-foot RV of the prpevious owner's. Now ... well ... time to rent a dumpster.

Thanks, Sharron! Yes, this comes from years of experience cleaning out the garage, the spare room, the closet…ugh! Ha ha!
HILARIOUS!! We are "there" with you!! HAHA
Thanks, Shirley!! Yes, it is more common than not, these tales of woe! We are in good company!! 😘😂

We'll get to THAT side of the garage later! OOOOO yes, you won't--nor will I!
Dang!
And then there's the "recyclables?" Never use a plastic container once???
OOO yes, I'll try!!
Thanks, Jill! Sooo true…and thank you for restacking my post! 🫶
So funny, and so true to life.
Thank you, Ginevra! You gotta laugh at those (sometimes) frustrating times.
Excellent!
Thanks, Sis! It is a familiar experience to many, I think. If you’ve ever moved, especially! lol
