Wilson didn’t heel
He didn’t roll over or speak
Wilson didn’t sit or stay
Wilson wasn’t meek
Wilson did’t fetch and bring
Wilson didn’t shake your hand
He didn’t know what it meant
To follow a command
But when it came to loving
Wilson did it best
He stole my heart from day one
Until he was laid to rest
I never knew another dog
Who filled old Wilson’s paws
Wilson was a good boy
Despite his little flaws
When I get to heaven
Assuming that I do
I hope I see old Wilson
He’ll be carrying my missing shoe
A sweet epitaph to a much-loved furry friend. You brought a tear to my eye but also a smile to my face. That's how we miss them.
So much love!❤️
