Spring is skipping around winter’s edge
Tulips in my kitchen
An Easter preview
The days stretch their legs, uncurl their toes
Step out of dark clouds, into rainbows of hope
Yellow flowers top the bright green stems
Once only weeds, now in full splendor
Deer babies nibble on sweet grass
Bunnies lope, their white tails bobbing
I breathe in the scent of garden flowers
Carnations and sweet pea blossoms
Make me lightheaded
Dizzy with Spring fever

Wonderful spring imagery, Sharon. The poem has a lot of energy. Appropriate for spring.
