They were sixteen and eighteen. So much in love that it hurt.Spending whatever free time they had at the drive-in, on the moonlit beach, or like this one afternoon, walking through the woods, looking for that “perfect spot” to be alone. No families, no old people, nobody anywhere in sight, or where they would be seen. Here it was. Off the beaten path. Soft bed of leaves. Behind a log. What could go wrong? Giggling and kissing, and being lost in each other, they didn’t notice the boy scouts, until it was too late. What could go wrong? Ha!
